I love their food. So yum. Naan is always fresh. I get the most amazing butter chicken. I like the samosa too

Tried their lunch buffet today. First off, I cannot remember a time when we were greeted so warmly when we walked in. I noticed the two ladies who worked there continuously greet everyone who walked in just as friendly. It was so refreshing to see. Selection and food was great!!!!! Samosas were so so good! And the garlic naan bread. The best I've ever had. You actually could taste the garlic (as it should be!!) and the bread was thin and crispy. Large size portions. The restaurant was clean and nice and cool in this 111 degree weather. We will definitely be going there again. This is a must try especially for those who would like to try Indian food for the first time.

We had the chai, garlic naan, mango lassi, Malabar fish curry, all excellent. The samosas, baigan bhartha and dal tadka were also good though not as high on my list for next time. My kid, who likes blander foods, enjoyed the dal. Great service, clean bathrooms, convenient stop along the I-5. This is our new go-to stop.

Lunch buffet is well worth it . The music that plays in the background is upbeat and got this dinner just a bit more ready to eat till my belly popped out in satisfaction. Our servers those lovely ladies made share the room was hydrated,clean,and smiling As for the Owner Sam, thanks for very inviting restaurant. Can't wait to try more of your restaurant's food.

Great food and awesome staff make this my favorite restaurant in Merced. The chicken and curry are particularly delicious!

We are her on a Saturday noonish. The restaurant is immaculately clean and nicely decorated. We had the shrimp pakora, butter chicken, rice, and roti. The shrimp was excellently seasoned and grilled to perfection, served with two delicious chutneys for even more complex flavor. The butter chicken sauce (makhani?) was delicious and vegetable focused - not too creamy, spiced to our taste. The roti was pleasantly chewy! One thing I might quibble with was the overly sugary chai tea, but that might be to others' taste. The butter chicken portion was smallish; definitely intended for one. The service is very attentive and quick! They did advertise weekday buffet with rotating menus: we'll definitely be back to try it!

Excellent service. They were always checking if we needed something. Regarding the menu: With the word Express being in their name I thought that it was going to have 2 options in the menu (combo1 and combo2) , well I'm happy to announce I was wrong . The menu was full of options and they seemed very aware of costumers who might have allergies. The food was great I loved the garlic naan because it tastes like garlic. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and rather addicting. The navratan korma was sweet and full of flavor. The desserts were also delicious: The kheer was like any rice pudding delicious but honestly not world breaking. However I had never tried Gajar ka halwah and I am changed. Now the price was great 50$ for a bunch of food plus dessert.

Came here for the second time, and I have to say, I'm quite impressed so updating my review to add another star. This time we got some of our usuals, butter chicken, cheesy garlic naan, samosas, mango lassi and masala chai. The new items we tried were mint lassi and tandoori chicken. The tandoori chicken was delicious and came out on a sizzling plate! The mint lassi was not what I expected, so I asked the waitress if I can get a mango one instead and she delivered. The mango lassi is sooo good, probably one of the best I've had. Both the waitress and the gentleman working (owner maybe?) we're so attentive and nice, two thumbs way way up for them. They also added a backdrop wall for pictures, check it out next time you're there!
